Job Summary
Oversee warehouse employees to meet business objectives for safety, quality, productivity, and responsiveness. Counsel hourly staff on needs and concerns, address performance behaviors through commendation and correction, and conduct daily meetings to communicate business performance. Apply the Quality Network problem solving process and Workplace Organization (WPO) process to address area opportunities and improve layouts. Perform daily timekeeping system updates, SOP audits, and safety observation tours while documenting activities using A-3 reporting. Plan daily workloads, enforce shop rules, and support colleagues to optimize shift performance. Maintain accurate payroll data processing and keep the General Supervisor Shop Committee apprised of pending activities. Requires 10+ years of experience, high school graduation with technical training, and strong interpersonal skills to motivate work output.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- 1-2 years of technical or business school training
- Training in skilled trades area or equivalent technical training
- 10+ years of experience

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Knowledge of basic math
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Understand of basic technology of area where assigned
- Knowledge of scheduling and other management systems
- Relatively high level of analytical ability where problems are complex
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees and elicit work output
- Knowledge of quality control procedures
