Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor will manage all distribution functions including safety programs, shipping & receiving, inventory management, and warehousing on 3rd shift, overseeing a department of 15-25 union employees. Responsibilities include coordinating dock activities, achieving financial objectives, developing safety culture, driving consistency and cost reduction, and enhancing delivery metrics. The role requires a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in distribution, strong expertise in WMS systems (JD Edwards preferred), and effective leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a high-volume distribution center in a supervisory role
- Experience managing distribution center KPI compliance
- Extensive experience with WMS and scanning systems operations
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Comprehensive oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Track record of continuous improvement in safety metrics
