Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Oversee warehouse operations to ensure incoming and outgoing materials are processed according to schedule, coordinating receipt, storage, and dispatch to meet delivery timescales. Supervise logistics operators, train staff on forklift and tuggy usage, and monitor safety compliance while controlling order picking and goods movement for accuracy. Manage stock takes, maintain inventory accuracy against the warehouse management system, and drive corrective actions to eliminate root causes of errors. Coach the team daily to focus on business objectives, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and deliver efficiencies supporting operational budget reduction. Ensure adherence to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, Integrated Management System policies, and OSHA regulations within the production environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management
- Experience of operating in a supervisory capacity within a fast paced, highly pressurized warehouse production environment
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to persuade others to change existing practices
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Experience working on multidisciplinary teams
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Adept critical thinking skills for complex issues
- Ability to sustain and develop team working and team-based problem solving
- Possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilizing appropriate interpersonal styles including leading by example, setting objectives, and defining responsibilities to give a clear sense of direction
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
- Able to achieve results by setting high standards and committing to clear objectives

- Computer literate with good numeric skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
