Job Summary
Lead and supervise warehouse personnel assigned to Shipping and Receiving, directing daily activities to ensure safe, compliant operations. Oversee loading and verification of outbound shipments and all receiving functions, communicate with management and customers, and foster a professional, safety-first environment. Maintain adherence to legal regulations and company policies, and leverage warehouse management systems to optimize efficiency. Comfortable with 8–12 hour shifts on concrete, and able to supervise staff across multiple warehouse functions. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in shipping and receiving departments; supervisory experience preferred
- Familiar with warehouse management systems
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Must be able to work 8 to 12 hours a day, standing on a concrete surface
- Ability to supervise a crew doing multiple functions in multiple areas of the warehouse
- Supervise loading and verify all outbound shipments and all receiving functions
- Communicate with all levels of management and customers via email or phone
- Direct daily activities to ensure a safe working environment
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies
