Job Summary
Direct warehouse and inventory operations to ensure precise control and on-time delivery across manufacturing. Align department requirements with the Quality Management System and execute the Continuous Improvement Framework by standardizing processes and empowering employees. Manage direct reports through problem-solving skills and cross-training while leading daily accountability and weekly department meetings focused on safety, performance, and issue resolution. Maintain daily statistics on demand and production, communicate material availability metrics, and coordinate assistance from support functions like Quality and Engineering. Assign overtime as required to meet customer commitments and evaluate team member qualifications based on Division policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR High School Diploma/GED with five (5) years minimum experience working in a warehouse / logistics or supply chain role in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory/people leadership experience in a warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing environment
- Excellent communications skills – verbal, written and electronic
- Capability of managing change
- Strong Computer / systems skills – Microsoft office products, ERP / MRP
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Strong accountability focus
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using SAP ERP systems
- APICS supply chain certifications (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD)
- Experience in engineer to order (ETO) electrical equipment manufacturing operations
- Experience with Lean Planning Concepts
