Job Summary
Oversee shipping operations by reading work orders, analyzing production schedules, and planning inventory to ensure on-time deliveries. Direct supervisors to manage production volume, quality, and cost while training staff to meet department objectives. Monitor machinery maintenance and sanitation, ensuring compliance with HACCP programs and food safety policies. Evaluate employee hour requirements, adjust work procedures, and recommend improvements to equipment performance and yields. Coordinate activities across individual departments and resolve work-related problems to maximize labor efficiencies.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10 years' experience in Shipping inventory
- 2-4 years' experience managing people
- Degree in operations management or supply chain preferred
- Computer skills
- Must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate
- Must be able to perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must pass drug, alcohol, and background checks
- Must provide verification of employment eligibility by the end of the third day of work
