Warehouse Specialist/Supply Technician

Job Summary

Verify materials against receiving documents, route items to prescribed storage locations, and store, stack, or palletize supplies using approved methods. Rearrange inventory, examine stored goods for deterioration or damage, and remove materials for shipment. Operate hand or power trucks as needed. Assist the Supply Department Manager in receiving, stocking, inventorying, issuing, packing, and shipping facility tools and materials. Maintain 100% accurate tool and material location and inventory while ensuring overall warehouse cleanliness and organization. Research, quote, source, and procure parts and equipment on behalf of the government customer. Provide status reports to senior management and manage material delivery and pickup from vendors. Maintain a Secret Security Clearance and possess a current VA Driver's License.

Required Qualifications

  • One to three (1-3) years of experience in supply/warehousing or inventory operations
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Prior military veterans in Supply-Logistics Rating/MOS strongly encouraged to apply
  • Must be self-motivated, process-oriented, punctual and have excellent time-management skills
  • Requires personal accountability, strong work ethic, diligent records-keeping and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Extreme dedication to inventory accuracy and safekeeping of material
  • Proficiency in operation of warehouse equipment to include pallet jacks and forklifts
  • Experience with MS Office Software Suite, to include Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with electronic asset management databases and inventory management software
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Current VA Driver's License required
  • Must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment
  • All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Must be available for first shift (0700-1530) or second shift (0830-1700)

Desired Qualifications

  • CDL license is highly desired
