Job Summary
Verify materials against receiving documents, inspect incoming subsistence supplies, MREs, and water for temperature-chain failures or damage, and report discrepancies. Route items to prescribed storage locations in dry, refrigerated, and freezer zones while maintaining the Warehouse Management System database. Operate hand trucks, power jacks, and forklifts to store, stack, and palletize materials, then prepare stock for outbound shipping. Direct assigned Stock Clerks during inbound supply windows and conduct periodic inventory counts. Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 55 pounds, bending, and working in cold temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of experience in an industrial warehouse setting
- Food logistics experience
- Forklift certification
- Ability to pass forklift certification within 30 days of employment
- Strong understanding of industrial storage plans
- Understanding of inventory rotation
- Knowledge of cold-chain sanitation guidelines
- Good judgment
- High level of integrity

- Ability to solve routine problems with minimal supervision
- Ability to work flexible hours to support peak National Guard training cycles and weekend drill surges
