Job Summary
Warehouse Specialist responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations at a distribution center or cross-dock. Lead a team of Warehouse Associates to meet operational goals, support WMS processes, maintain accurate inventory records, and partner with the Operations Manager to drive efficiency, accuracy, and team performance. Duties include operating material handling equipment, coordinating with multiple departments, reporting issues, conducting inventory audits, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining punctuality and reliability. Requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, plus willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (minimum qualification)
- Experience leading a team to goal achievement; prior supervisory experience a plus
- Ability to prioritize and organize work with strong follow-up, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms with team members and management
- Ability to work overtime (as needed) to meet operational and customer demands
- Ability to maintain performance in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to multi-task with excellent time management skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Two (2) years or more of experience in logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field preferred
