Job Summary
Warehouse Specialist handles incoming and outgoing shipping orders, maintains current inventory levels in the shop, assists with receiving/shipping and loading/unloading of materials, performs inventory checks and updates in Viewpoint, verifies packing lists, coordinates with shop personnel to ensure proper equipment for job sites, and ensures safety compliance. The role also includes valve tagging on control stations prior to shipment, occasional travel across the continental US, and maintaining a neat, safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods of time
- Ability to travel minimally at times with overnight stays when required
- Effective communication skills
- Basic experience with Word, Outlook, and Excel
