Job Summary
Verify materials against receiving documents, report discrepancies, and route items to prescribed storage locations. Store, stack, or palletize materials according to established methods, rearrange inventory, and examine stored goods for deterioration or damage. Remove materials from storage to prepare them for shipment while maintaining 100% inventory accuracy of all assets. This Warehouse Specialist role at Parsons' Installation Training Support Center in Camp Ripley, MN, supports military training efforts through operations, maintenance, and supply management functions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Three (3) years' experience in training support center operations, military automated warehouse operations or civilian equivalent warehouse operations
- Proof of US citizenship or US permanent residency
- Valid driver's license
- Installation driving privileges
- Ability to operate forklift machinery
- Ability to pass all security requirements IAW military installation Provost Marshall's Policy in order to gain access to the installation
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment
- Excellent communication skills when interfacing with military and civilian customers or management personnel
- Clarity and conciseness in verbal and written instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Practical experience with Army logistics management systems and associated military systems for stock control and supply records keeping
- Computer experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, TS-MATS systems
