Job Summary
Obtain products from inventory to fill orders, prepare containers for shipment, and enter shipments into the computer system to generate shipping tickets. Receive and unload incoming materials, compare quantities against packing slips, and document discrepancies or damaged goods. Enter goods received into the computerized inventory system, pull pallets with a jack, and perform period-end inventory counts. Maintain a clean work area, follow safety regulations, and ensure consistent attendance while lifting up to 50 lbs. Regularly stand, walk, and reach overhead or below the waist.
Required Qualifications
- General knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
- Ability to input data into computer system and create reports
- Physical strength to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- High School Diploma or GED
