Job Summary
Cross train and perform at or above standard in at least three different warehouse functions, including operating various machine types or training certified machine operators. Process, generate, and interpret Distribution Center documents while running reports to make data-driven decisions and recommendations. Train others on warehouse operations and perform backup responsibilities for the Team Lead and Supervisor. Demonstrate flexibility to work on any shift with little notice across multiple departments. Handle physical demands involving lifting up to 75 pounds, standing, and working in temperature-controlled environments with occasional exposure to dust.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and demonstrated skills of warehousing operations
- Ability to be a machine driver on several different types of equipment
- Ability to be a certified machine trainer
- Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment
- Must be able to stand while operating equipment bearing full weight on both feet
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to grasp, bend, stand, reach above shoulder height, and walk extensively throughout the warehouse
- Must be able to work in hot and cool temperatures
- Must be able to handle hazardous items
- Must be able to handle noise
- Must be able to handle dust
- Must be able to work on machines which operate up to 5 levels high
