Warehouse Specialist

Job Summary
Receive incoming goods, unload donor vehicles, and verify packing slips before submitting them to the Program Manager. Organize donated items on racks and bins by size, type, or order, while identifying unusable inventory to distribute to other service providers. Manage client appointments, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring items are properly secured on client vehicles and logging all materials distributed. Assist in donation pick-ups, perform preventative maintenance on pipes, and execute carpentry duties including building and repairing screens and shelves. Train and oversee warehouse volunteers, while working with the Driver on occasional smaller item donation pick-ups.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1) year of experience in warehouse operations and/or related field
- Working knowledge of computer software programs (i.e. Excel and Word)
- Ability to obtain certificate and operate a forklift and properly use a pallet jack
- Valid Driver's license
- Willingness to use properly insured car
- Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
- Must work occasional Saturdays
