Job Summary
Operate powered industrial forklifts to transport inventory, unload incoming stock, and load orders. Pull and stage orders for shipment, fill work orders, and transact inventory movements using the control system. Perform cycle counts, replenish flow line materials, and inspect stock for defects. Monitor equipment processes, report discrepancies, and ensure FIFO is followed for all transactions. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace while handling domestic and international shipping activities. Requires forklift certification, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to standard operating procedures. This role supports Franklin Electric's manufacturing operations with opportunities for future growth.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift Certification
- Equivalent of four years of high school
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be available for relocation to Tualatin, Oregon by the end of the year
- Must be able to work near moving mechanical parts
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with indoor temperature variations
- Must be able to occasionally be subjected to fumes or airborne particles, as well as toxic or caustic chemicals
- Must have close vision
