Job Summary
Warehouse Specialist at Erie Materials who distributes building materials (primarily roofing and siding) to residential and commercial builders. Responsibilities include safely operating equipment to transport and pick up materials, reading work orders/invoices to determine product needs, assisting with deliveries and loading/unloading, maintaining clean warehouse areas, providing personalized customer service, and communicating effectively with customers, dispatchers, and management. Requires ability to lift up to 100 pounds, forklift/Moffett experience preferred, and basic math and reading comprehension. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Knowledge of building materials product is preferred.
- Forklift and/or Moffett experience are preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry building materials product by hand weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Strong basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
