Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for receiving, shipping, storage, inventory accuracy, and picking operations to support internal and external operations, including GDP/cGMP compliance, driving/operating powered industrial vehicles, and loading/unloading materials between Baxter locations. Weekend coverage supports production for Filling and Packaging, with cross-training across Supply Chain warehouses. Responsibilities include BOL/packslip verification, damage assessment, proper packing for shipment, ERP/DOT/IATA-compliant documentation, order processing and status updates, inventory preparation for transportation, and travel between locations. Requires forklift/PIT operation, adherence to temperature control, and compliance with regulatory and company SOPs; overtime, night and weekend work may be required. Travel to multiple locations and the ability to operate in varied temperatures (-65 to -85 Celsius in some roles) are required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred or required (per Desirable qualifications)
- Associates degree preferred
- Must be able to operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials certification
- For-Hire license endorsement within 30 days of hire
- Basic math skills
- Ability to travel to multiple locations
- Packed/shipped materials with proper documentation
- Good documentation practices (GDP)
- DOT/IATA regulatory compliance
