Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist will handle shipping/receiving and inventory for parts, stock and label items, process transfers, and assist customers at the counter. Responsibilities include organizing and controlling inventoried items, operating forklift and pallet jack, ensuring safety and company policies, and promoting & selling parts over the phone, email, fax, and at walk-in counters. Also support the service and parts departments with orders, quotes, and issue resolution, plus general housekeeping and facility maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalent (GED)
- Must have and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record (driving history) for insurability purposes
- Must operate forklift vehicle
- Must wear proper PPE including steel toe shoes
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Basic math skills for computing percentages, multipliers, sales tax, and totals on parts orders
- Knowledge of inventory control methods and procedures preferred
- Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment for extended periods
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
