Job Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for having thorough working knowledge of Plant Material Control functions and equipment (Forklift, Cambar, HK Systems, TTMS, AMAPS, MITS, AES), performing loading/unloading, case picking, BOL documentation, and fulfilling shipping-office duties while maintaining GMP, safety, and quality compliance. Duties include receiving, data entry, creating and processing documentation, ensuring accurate records, releasing orders promptly, maintaining databases, and communicating safety and GMP concerns to leadership. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work the overnight shift with rotating weekends; role emphasizes safe, efficient, compliant warehouse operations within Abbott's Columbus Plant.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
