Job Summary
Receive, stow, and issue material while ensuring items meet MIL-STD 129N requirements. Perform inventory actions and examine, classify, accept, reject, and dispose of material according to DLA regulations. Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as assigned, load items on skids and pallets, and input data into automated supply systems. Count, weigh, record data, apply tags, and prepare reports for distribution functions. Read specifications, drawings, and schematics to guide inspections and maintenance adjustments. Work in a shop/warehouse environment requiring physical stamina, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety protocols. Maintain a U.S. Government SECRET clearance and hold an MHE license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years specific experience in material handling, supply, distribution, inspection, or related areas
- Proficient in the use of Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF guns and other automated distribution systems used at site
- Inventory experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite products including, Word, Excel, Access and Outlook software
- Demonstrate a good attitude and ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast paced environment on multiple projects, and have a strong attention for detail
- Ability to acquire license to use Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
- Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license
- Must be certified to operate MHE in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Operators must be able to safely access, control, and operate the equipment within all physical design and safety limitations defined by the manufacturer
- U.S. Citizenship

- US Government SECRET Clearance
- Have a current US Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered Investigation
- Be able to maintain a US Government SECRET clearance
