Job Summary
Stage, load, and unload products and materials while maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring material traceability. Inspect and verify all aspects of materials including grade, size, quantity, and measurements during shipping, receiving, or handling. Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and yard trucks in accordance with safety guidelines while enforcing company safety policies. Attend scheduled safety and department meetings and report any discrepancies or quality issues to the Supervisor. Work an 8:00am to 4:30pm shift in a fast-paced warehouse environment requiring physical mobility and the ability to lift up to 51 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Understanding of SPS policies and procedures
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures where applicable
- Ability to effectively read and use a tape measure, caliper and micrometer, and other hand tools
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment
- Good verbal and written communications
- Ability to read and interpret instructions
- Strong computer, tablet, or mobile device skills
- Proven basic math skills

- Ability to lift up to 51 pounds as needed
- Pushing, pulling, or carrying up to 50 pounds
- Wear proper PPE at all times (as described in company policy)
