Job Summary
Warehouse Specialist 1 responsible for end-to-end warehouse operations including inbound/outbound activities, forklift operation with RF scanners, and use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft applications to maintain inventory. Ensures GMP and OSHA compliance, supports process improvements with cross-functional teams, maintains audit-ready environment, and adapts to shifting tasks in a fast-paced setting. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and forklift certification; 1 year certification required with 2-4 years forklift experience preferred; 2-3 years in warehouse/logistics/manufacturing helpful. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:30am–2:30pm in Buffalo, NY.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1-year forklift certification, required
- 2-4 years forklift experience, preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations is extremely helpful
- Strong familiarity with warehouse technology including WMS platforms, RF scanners, and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proven ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and make sound decisions in real time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Must wear safety boots/shoes
- Must wear safety vest
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Monday-Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm
