Job Summary
Lead and supervise branch warehouse Shipping Department on 2nd shift, overseeing timely and accurate order picking and preparation for shipment. Drive safety, productivity, and process improvements by organizing daily activities, enforcing policies, and coordinating with the Warehouse Manager to evaluate performance variances and implement corrective actions. The role requires strong communication, bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities a plus, and proficiency with AS400, Word, and Excel to manage workload, staff assignments, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years prior experience as a warehouse supervisor required
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to multitask
- Possess excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient using the AS400
- Possess strong PC skills in Word and Excel
