Job Summary
The Warehouse Shipping Coordinator is responsible for assigning orders or dock tasks, coordinating shipping schedules and labor requirements, shipping individual product orders using FedEx or UPS systems, stocking and maintaining the shipping area, and ensuring accuracy of address labels. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant experience in warehouse operations, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training
- Experience with warehouse equipment
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
