Job Summary
Accurately select orders for delivery per company standards and construct pallets while lifting products weighing up to 165 lbs. Operate assigned equipment safely, including electric forklifts and pallet jacks, and perform accurate equipment condition reports. Handle product with care to minimize breakage and inform management of any business-related opportunities or problems. Adhere to all safety requests, standards operating procedures, and applicable state, federal, and local laws. Complete other warehouse duties assigned by supervisors and participate in assigned training and development activities. This 55-day probationary position leads to union membership.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- one to two years related warehousing and forklift experience and/or training
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- knowledge of Internet software
- ability to learn and use assigned company equipment
- excellent communication and people skills
- Understanding of product code dating system
- Must have a general duty to act in accordance with the Company's mission, vision and values
- Must demonstrate a commitment to the safety of the Company's employees and the public
- Must be able to regularly lift 165 pounds

- Must be able to perform accurately, neatly and in a timely fashion any equipment condition reports
- Must be able to safely and carefully handle product minimizing breakage
- Must be able to safely and efficiently operate all assigned equipment
- Must be able to accurately and efficiently select orders for delivery per company standards
- Must be able to participate and cooperate fully in any assigned training, development, and/or group activities that management may choose to assign
- Must be able to complete other warehouse duties assigned by supervisors
