Job Summary
Verify credentials and validate access of authorized individuals into the cargo warehouse. Observe persons entering and exiting access points, challenge and verify their authorization, and inspect persons and property as required. Ensure proper documentation of all entries and escort visitors according to contract-specific requirements. Prepare, maintain, and submit required activity documentation. Report activities, incidents, and observations of irregularities to shift and customer leadership. This role includes a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Thursday through Monday schedule with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Candidates must hold a valid Illinois PERC card, pass a seven-year background check, and possess a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Valid PERC Card
- Original birth certificate or valid US Passport
- Valid driver's license or valid state ID and social security card
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and US Customs security badges
- Pass a thorough, verifiable, seven-year background check as well as fingerprint verification, drug screening, criminal record check, and personal reference checks
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Corrected 20/20 vision
- Normal hearing
- Valid Illinois PERC card
