Job Summary
Conduct site safety inspections and audits to ensure organization safety compliance. Evaluate safety programs, implement approved changes, and facilitate root-cause analysis for accidents and incidents. Manage safety training schedules, oversee monthly random drug testing with a third-party vendor, and handle workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs. Champion the Harm-to-None behavioral safety program and participate in tactical planning for corporate safety initiatives. Maintain completion of all safety-related forms and processes while reviewing accident trends to drive continuous risk improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Government regulations and safety compliance
- strong working knowledge and understanding of safety rules and regulations at all levels of government including OSHA, Cal-OSHA, DOT
- Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
- Knowledge of the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous risk improvement
