Job Summary
Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and root-cause analyses for accidents and incidents to maintain highest compliance levels. Evaluate safety programs, implement approved changes, and champion the Harm-to-None behavioral safety program. Manage safety training schedules, facilitate safety committee meetings, and oversee monthly random drug testing with a third-party vendor. Work with operations management to ensure organization safety compliance and manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs. Participate in tactical planning for corporate safety initiatives and enforce company safety rules and the Powered Industrial Training Program. Shift days are Sunday through Friday with a 5:00 AM start time. Bachelor's degree required with strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and DOT regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Government regulations and safety compliance
