Job Summary
Receive products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages, then store items properly and perform transfers to and from the warehouse. Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, while conducting physical inventory and maintaining sanitation and organizational systems of all storage areas. Process supply requests, prepare merchandise for delivery, and package items for shipping according to established procedures. Fulfill event expectations including requisitioning during events, post-event breakdown, equipment storage, and maintenance of concession and utility assets. Ensure appropriate stocking levels are met and maintain security of company assets. Work a variable event-driven schedule including evenings and weekends at a rate of $13.00-$15.00.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of foodservice/hospitality experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner that fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess a valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by local government
- Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Able to frequently lift heavy objects
- Must maintain excellent attendance
- Must be available to work a variable event-driven schedule, which includes evenings and weekends
