Job Summary
Process customer orders on pallets, administer product rotation policy, and handle return loads while operating electric pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and six-wheel carts. Lift and carry 15-40 lbs overhead or 160 lbs to waist level with frequent bending, stooping, and pushing. Visually inspect code dates on products and utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices. This physically demanding seasonal role requires O.S.H.A. forklift certification, basic math skills, and effective communication to replenish lanes and support peak periods with flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent experience
- Core competencies in basic math
- Demonstrated customer service orientation
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to operate a hand truck, six-wheel cart, electric pallet jack and lift jack
- Ability to visually inspect and read code dates on products
- Ability to lift 30 pounds overhead and 160 pounds to waist level
- Ability to utilize standard hand-held computer input/output devices
- Ability to pass O.S.H.A. forklift certification
- Must be able to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 lbs. or more on a repetitive basis during the work day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Must be available for varying times during peak periods
- Must be available until all work is complete
