Job Summary
Process product by peeling, slicing, dicing, and mincing according to order specifications. Rework distressed produce per company guidelines while selecting cases to pick, label, and put away. Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks, and manage recycled boxes for baler machinery. Maintain warehouse cleanliness through sweeping and trash removal, and adhere strictly to HACCP and SQF safety policies. Ensure proper PPE usage and perform all duties ethically in accordance with company procedures. This hourly role offers weekly pay, health benefits, and a 401k plan for a position within Hardie's Fresh Foods, a Texas-based supplier of specialty ingredients to chefs and foodservice professionals.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of previous work experience
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred
- Experience in a food processing environment preferred
- Familiarly with SQF and HACCP policies and procedures is a plus
