Job Summary
Load and unload recycling materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools per standard operating procedures. Inspect, hand-sort, grade, and accurately count recyclable materials while creating and maintaining shipping documents and logs. Perform equipment inspections for repairs and ensure the work area, tools, and machinery remain clean and properly stored. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and may cross-train for additional duties. This role supports the efficient operation of recycling facilities within Rural King's rural communities, offering opportunities for professional growth alongside dedicated associates.
Required Qualifications
- Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience
- Ability to successfully interact with others efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow all health and safety regulations while operating equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Good visual acuity including close vision for computer work
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for long periods of time
- Ability to walk up and down stairs multiple times per day
- Ability to repetitively lift, bend, carry, and push
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
