Job Summary
Part-time Warehouse Receiving/Putaway role on the 1st shift (8:30am-1:30pm) at Staples, Brighton, CO. Responsibilities span multiple warehouse functions (Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Shipping, Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operation, Porter) with potential movement among roles. Duties include operating material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, turrets) to move product (often up to 100 lbs), confirming product accuracy, unloading trucks, palletizing, shelving, and maintaining safe, clean work areas. The role emphasizes safety procedures, effective communication with internal/external contacts, and adherence to productivity and quality standards. Required qualifications include minimum 3 months warehouse experience or equivalent training, ability to pass a drug screen, basic English, being at least 18, and willingness to work overtime if needed. Preferred qualifications include High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience and prior equipment operation experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift, push or pull 70-100 pounds
- High School Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work additional overtime hours as needed for Full-Time associates (if applicable)
