Job Summary
Warehouse Receiving Part Time 1st Shift in Coppell, TX. Operate/assist across roles including Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Warehouse Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move product up to 100 lbs, unloading trucks, palletizing, ensuring accuracy, communicating with internal/external contacts, and maintaining safety procedures. May be moved to SC1/SC2 roles as needed. Includes safety emphasis, ability to pass drug screen, 18+ years old, and part-time schedule with 1st shift hours (10:00am-2:00pm). Pay is $22.45/hour with benefits for Staples Supply Chain; location Coppell, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
- Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
- If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need.
- Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
- An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
- Must wear safety composite shoes.
- Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack and cherry picker helpful.
