Job Summary
Coordinate and lead receiving operations in a 2nd-shift warehouse setting. Independently perform all receiving functions for stock and non-stock items, verify incoming shipments against packing lists and invoices, process material through the JDE system, and ensure accurate inventory entries. Manage unloading of trucks, perform visual inspections for damage, and distribute items to the appropriate recipients. Generate and process paperwork such as BOLs and manifests, maintain ISO standards, and collaborate with procurement and business units to resolve issues with delivered materials. Lead assigned personnel to meet productivity targets, identify and implement process improvements in warehouse receiving procedures, and use scanners, tablets, and warehouse machinery. Maintain compliance with safety rules and company policies, and leverage MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) as part of daily responsibilities. A self-starter capable of working independently while coordinating with others, with strong verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to accuracy and problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- TABE testing requirements met at approved grade level for position.
- Basic Mathematical Skills
- Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
- Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
- Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.
