Job Summary
Warehouse Receiver responsible for managing, receiving, and loading all local purchasing deliveries; collecting shipments and documenting them; organizing shipments in the facility and distributing products to storage areas (dry, coolers, freezers, meat/fish/produce). Follows FIFO, date marking, labeling, and HACCP protocols; manages monthly inventories and communicates stock changes; works with team to meet department goals while maintaining food safety compliance. Requires forklift and electric pallet jack operation, ability to lift/move packages, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a storing and handling merchandise position
- F&B and Food Handling experience
- Ability to move, lift, carry, pull or push packages as needed
- Ability to drive a sit-down or stand-up forklift and operate an electric pallet jack
- Work in a fast- paced environment with excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills
- Complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines and substantial workload
- Outstanding and transparent communication skills
- Capable to work independently and in a team environment
- Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on approach and ability to react with a sense of urgency
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs
