Warehouse Receiver/Checker

Job Summary
As a Receiver/Checker, you will verify incoming shipments against records, record counts and pallet types, input shipment data into the warehouse management system, and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle/directed counting. You will monitor for damages, discrepancies, and shortages, label pallets, compare purchase orders with bills of lading, and communicate issues to management. The role requires operating materials handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack or forklift), basic math and reading skills, and the ability to use a warehouse management system. A Receiving Certification is required, and attention to safety, reliability, and meeting productivity standards is essential. Schedule: 1st Shift, 8 am start time with rotating schedule. Industry: wholesale grocery distribution; environment includes perishable warehouse conditions and adherence to safety and quality standards.
