Job Summary

Receive, process, and track incoming and outgoing shipments while issuing and collecting equipment including training kits. Maintain accurate inventory records with serial number tracking for controlled items using government inventory systems to document, track, and manage supplies. Prepare and process documentation such as SF-120s, monitor deadlines to ensure items are accounted for within required timeframes, and conduct inventory reconciliation and reporting. Coordinate with USMS offices for proper equipment accountability and serve as the point of contact for facility, equipment, and logistical support needs. Assist with office and equipment moves and support safety and security compliance requirements. This hands-on role requires being on your feet throughout the day, regular movement across the FLETC campus, and the ability to lift items up to 25–30 lbs.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in inventory management, supply technician duties, logistics, or warehouse/property management
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 25–30 lbs
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse and operational environment
  • This is not a desk position and requires being on your feet throughout the day
  • Regular movement across the FLETC campus is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience tracking inventory and maintaining accountability of equipment (serial number tracking preferred)
  • Experience with documentation and forms related to inventory or property management (e.g., SF-120s or similar)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous military, law enforcement, or public safety experience
  • Experience managing, issuing, tracking, or maintaining accountability of government or controlled equipment
  • Previous experience working in a federal, military, law enforcement, or other government operational environment
  • Experience with government property, supply, logistics, or inventory management systems
