Job Summary
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using power equipment while maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly work area. Perform daily inspections on assigned equipment and operate all machinery safely following OSHA standards. Execute receiving, putaway, and order picking tasks to ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Manage inventory records, stock rotation, and physical inventories to maintain control and security. Report quality variances, issues, and problems to management immediately. Maintain safety protocols and comply with all applicable standards throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Ability to lift and carry objects of varying weights, typically 25 to 50 pounds or more
- Capability to push and pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment loaded with materials throughout the warehouse
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, often for the duration of a shift
- Capacity to bend, stoop, squat, and reach to retrieve items from shelves, bins, or storage racks
- Can climb ladders or stairs to access elevated storage areas or perform maintenance tasks
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle small objects, operate machinery controls, and perform tasks requiring precision and accuracy
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as scanning barcodes, sorting items, or packaging products, throughout the shift
- Stamina and endurance to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
- Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent workplace accidents and injuries
- Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
- Capable of recognizing and distinguishing letters and numbers (both visually and orally) and remembering their sequence
- Good basic math skills and the ability to identify both numeric and alphanumeric sequences accurately and rapidly for placing product in the proper locations
- Basic computer usage skills
- Stamina to stand and walk for the entire work shift
- 6 months prior work experience
- Prior Powered Industrial Equipment
- Must meet job standards, which may change as equipment, materials and procedures change to allow for improvements or additional responsibilities for this position
- Ability to access items throughout the warehouse at various heights and angles
- Capacity to work at heights to include open floor mezzanines and follow safety protocols for ladder use
- Ability to remain alert to audible and visual safety signals in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to work long hours, weekends, or overtime during peak periods
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months prior work experience is a plus
- Prior Powered Industrial Equipment preferred
- Should have basic computer usage skills
