Job Summary
The Picking Clerk – Low Unit of Measure will locate merchandise using a voice pick system, accurately pulling, checking, and packaging items to complete customer orders. Key responsibilities include reporting inventory discrepancies, staging picked merchandise, maintaining a clean work environment, and operating warehouse equipment efficiently. Candidates must possess a high school diploma, be able to perform physically demanding tasks, and have basic arithmetic skills. Preferred qualifications include previous warehouse experience and familiarity with voice pick systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to operate warehouse equipment
- Proficient with basic arithmetic calculations
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse/distribution experience
- Previous experience with voice pick systems
- Ability to operate powered trucks
Additional Requirements
- Ability to perform physical motions typical of an order picker
- Must lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull carts weighing 75 pounds
