Warehouse Picking Clerk - Afternoon Shift

Job Summary
Locate and pick merchandise from picking documents and voice pick systems, then stage, check, package, and consolidate items in bulk and stockless departments. Assist with stockless transfers, perform daily order picking, and check loading as needed. Report inventory discrepancies, research shortages, and maintain high fill rates while completing all paperwork according to established procedures. Operate warehouse equipment safely, maintain equipment, and perform general custodial assignments including trash detail. Work a full-time afternoon shift in Andersonville, TN, lifting up to 60 lbs and pushing carts weighing 100 lbs repeatedly. Forklift experience preferred; ability to handle stress in a fast-paced environment required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to perform all physical motions typical of an order picker including bending, reaching, stretching, walking, pushing carts, stand or walk for long periods for entire shift often over 8hrs/shift, and lifting as much as 60 lbs. (or more) push/pull carts weighing 100 lbs. or more repeatedly throughout the shift. With or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check and drug screening
- Must be able to operate all warehouse equipment efficiently in a safe manner to avoid injury to personnel and equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
