Job Summary
Maintain, retrieve, inventory, and deliver items for casino and hotel operations. Inspect vendor deliveries, record receivers in JD Edwards, and verify inventory reports against physical counts. Determine proper storage methods, print requisitions, and ensure FIFO methodology for daily transfers. Examine items for defects, log overnight packages, and maintain clean storage areas. Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks while adhering to safety and ethical policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with not more than 3 or more moving violations or traffic citations in the past 3 years
- Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Basic math skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to use all type of warehouse equipment including fork-lift and pallet jack
- Excellent attendance record in previous positions
- Willing to learn and to be adaptable
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes
- Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds
- Must be able to operate in stressful situations
- Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, kneel, twist and grip items, reach with the body, arms, and/or legs
- Must be able to have continuous use of hands and arms
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Must be able to be on feet for an 8 hour shift
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality including second hand smoke
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills
