Job Summary
Warehouse Person at Farwest Steel: safely and accurately fill orders with stock material or processed parts, load and unload trucks and rail cars, assist machine operators, operate various warehouse machines/equipment, and support sales with warehouse/inventory information. Emphasis on safety, on-time deliveries, and accuracy; duties include material movement, restocking, tracking heat numbers for certification, packaging preparation, loading for delivery, attending safety/production meetings, and assisting customers and sales staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent optional.
- Basic understanding of warehouse functions and equipment operation.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and writing in English.
- Ability to work in a team environment with others in our company and treat our employees and customers with respect, courtesy and tact
- Perform routine office support, understand written and oral instruction, and make mathematical calculations.
