Job Summary
Warehouse Partner – Pick & Pack on 2nd shift responsible for accurately pulling merchandise from warehouse stock, labeling and packing orders, and preparing shipments using a hand-held RF system. Role emphasizes safety, adherence to OSHA procedures, inventory replenishment, maintaining a clean work area, and assisting with annual inventories. Requires lifting heavy items, ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment, and cooperation with peers to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Includes paid training and comprehensive Petco benefits; overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Essential Job Functions: pick and process merchandise as required by stores and distribution centers
- Operate hand-held RF computer system to record merchandise
- Package merchandise for shipment with correct labels
- Replenish inventory stock as required
- Complete necessary paperwork (OSHA, Labor Management Program, Time Off Requests)
- Maintain clean, safe work area per policies
- Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards
- Safety-sensitive position with drug testing
- Experience with warehouse environment and repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Operate in a team setting to meet distribution goals
