Job Summary
Palmdale Oil Company is hiring a Warehouse Associate for its Tampa, Florida location. The role focuses on warehouse/inventory control, loading drivers’ trucks for delivery, receiving shipments, organizing the warehouse and yard, and supporting the Plant Manager with projects. Key duties include maintaining inventory, loading/unloading, blending drums and pails to keep products in stock, assembling and painting fuel tanks for job sites, and performing basic calculations and office tasks with Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of warehouse experience (oil industry preferred), strong customer service, ability to multitask, physical ability to lift up to 80 pounds, and a willingness to work overtime as needed. CDL Class B with Tanker and HazMat Endorsement is preferred but not required, with forklift certification preferred. Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years Warehouse experience – preferable in the oil industry
- CDL Class B with Tanker and HazMat Endorsement (preferred but not required)
- Forklift certified preferred
- Able to Lift 80 pounds
- Ability to multitask as this position will be working independently and have the ability to prioritize workload
- Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations
- Detailed oriented
- Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to do basic math, to include calculating sales tax and invoice totals
- Oil and Lubricants knowledge is a plus, but not required
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- No fear of heights or confined spaces
