Warehouse Pallet Inspector Material Handler

Required Qualifications

• •High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• •1 to 2 years or more in Carpentry, Manufacturing environment preferred
• •Ability to comprehend basic math
• •Strong verbal and written communication skills
• •Able to work within a diverse work environment
• •Highly thorough and dependable
• •Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
• •Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• •Possesses a high degree of initiative
• •Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
• •Work independently and as a member of a team
• •Be a team player
• •Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• •Operate power equipment in a safe manner
• •Lift and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs
• •Twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis
• •Use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements
• •Work at a steady, fast pace while kneeling and/or twisting
• •Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day)
• •Must wear all safety equipment while repairing pallets
• •Performs duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• •Other duties as assigned
• •Must be available for Second Shift Monday - Friday 12:00pm- 8:30pm
• •Must be able to lift 70lb pallets from a stack to a rolling line
• •Must be able to lift the pallets for inspection and separation utilizing the palamatic machine
• •Ensure that proper inspection and separation is met
• •Conduct physical inventories as required
• •Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• •Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• •Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
• •Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards
• •Drug Free workplace
