Job Summary
Oversee package offloading, loading, and sorting while enforcing safety protocols, including dock, conveyor, and lockout/tagout procedures. Train new hires through hands-on demonstrations, provide performance feedback, and guide Package Handlers to support business metrics. Monitor equipment functionality, submit maintenance requests, and manage damaged freight per company procedures. Check in/out third-party drivers, verify credentials, and ensure manifest accuracy to prevent damage and avoid misroutes. Work Saturday through Wednesday from 5:30 AM to 12:00 PM, lifting up to 50 lbs and occasionally handling loads up to 150 lbs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- 1 year of industry experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic English language proficiency (spoken and written) required for understanding safety and operational instructions in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Regularly lift, push, pull 25 - 35 lbs.
- Occasionally carry up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally push or pull up to 150 lbs. using a pallet jack or gaylords to transport large packages.
Desired Qualifications
