Job Summary
The Outbound Warehouse Supervisor leads the shift's warehouse team to manage outbound order processing, including picking, packing, and shipping, while coordinating with receiving and stocking activities. Responsible for safety, process improvement, employee training and development, and inter-shift communication to ensure on-time, error-free fulfillment and alignment with departmental objectives.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma required
- 3 years or more in a warehouse environment with elevated or lead responsibilities
- 1+ year working directly with inventory, stocking and an inventory management system
- Ability to be trained and certified on forklift operations
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office programs and ability to learn ERP and WMS systems
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand for long periods of time
- Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal as well as written communication skills
- Ability to instruct and lead others to complete the assigned tasks
- Ability to manage time effectively, as they may need to handle multiple functions to consistently meet deadlines
