Job Summary
Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy, produce, poultry, fish, beef, and pork in specific quantities using order sheets or an audio headset. Operate powered industrial equipment such as single and double pallet jacks to assemble, palletize, and shrink wrap products for customer orders. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by conducting inspections of equipment using a safety checklist and reporting damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock items. Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure product safety and prevent damage. Work in multi-temperature areas including dry, cooled, refrigerated, and freezer compartments while following verbal and written instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions)
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned
- Must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Prior order selecting experience preferred
- Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred
