Warehouse Order Selector - Night Shift

Job Summary
Pick orders from the warehouse, build pallets, prepare products for delivery, and load onto outbound trucks during evening and overnight hours. Safely operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and riding pallet jacks while communicating via Vocollect headsets. Maintain GMP and GFSI food safety standards while spending significant time on your feet in a refrigerated environment. Perform other duties as requested with consistent attendance. This role supports Northwest's largest independent distributor of fresh organic produce by ensuring fruits and vegetables reach grocers and restaurants daily.
Required Qualifications
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an order-selector/ warehouser picker in a produce or related environment
- Minimum 1 year experience using riding pallet jacks and able to demonstrate safe & proficient riding technique
- Minimum 1 year experience using Vocollect headsets or RF scan-guns
- Able to safely lift 30-50 pounds in a refrigerated environment
- Ability to work on a team and foster a culture of belonging
- Ability to learn new computer software
- Basic math skills
- Regular heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- Constant alertness to monitor warehouse processes and/or identify problems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous work experience with perishable products, familiarity with food safety standards
- Love or knowledge about organic produce
- Computer savvy
